Cosmo’s cute little body from his X-ray
Hi friends and followers!
Wow I really can’t believe how long its been since we got back from our 2 month long trip around the West coast and Mexico.
In my dream world I would have been able to actively blog the entire time we were traveling around the Yucatan but cell service was so inconsistent everywhere we went that I decided to hold off until we got back to home in Los Angeles.
Once we got back life has been a whirlwind and I haven’t had the brain capacity to put our trip into an organized series of posts but my goal over the next month is to chip away at articles sharing all of the amazing (and so so) dog friendly hotels we stayed in.
We spent almost an entire month on the west coast road tripping up from LA to my parents house in WA and then we flew from Seattle to Cancun and spent a month in Mexico road tripping with my dad, and then flew back to Seattle and spent another week in Washington before road tripping back down to LA.
It was such an amazing experience getting to do all of that with Cosmo and he was such a trooper!
Cosmo had a blast and did an amazing job adapting to so many different environments. It makes me sad that we are now facing an up and coming knee surgery for him but grateful he injured himself while we were home and close to our vet than out of the country.
He is doing amazing on his pain medication but unfortunately with the severity of where his knee is it will require surgery to correct and help prevent future issues.
We have a gofundme started to help pay for all of his surgery and recovery costs. https://gofund.me/572678323
